Project progress
The contractor is undertaking earthworks from CH 19+630-CH 55+500, mostly doing clearing and grubbing, removal of topsoil, roadbed preparation, common excavation swamp improvement, fills, subgrade and sub-base processing. Swamp treatment, gabion and culvert construction at km 41+000-41+980 and km15+100-15+900 is ongoing. Subgrade, subbase and base layer construction is also ongoing from Km 24+780-Km 41+000 with exception of seasonal swamps. The contractor has also started the construction of the Asphalt layer after doing a trial from km35+050 to km 35+100.
